Only put out as much feed as will be consumed in 1 or 2 days and replace any wet or old feed promptly. An average laying quail will eat approximately 1.5kg in six weeks. It is very important that clean fresh drinking water is made available at all times. Ensure feeders are cleaned regularly, ideally using an appropriate disinfectant. It is recommended to use several feeding areas and relocate them regularly.
